Qualifications

• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches must be completed before assuming the position.
• ASEP Coaches Education Course completed before May 15, 2013 will exempt the retake requirement where applicable.
• NFHS Heat Illness Prevention and NFHS COVID-19 courses required as specified.

Responsibilities

• Complete mandatory NFHS and health-safety certifications prior to start.
• Maintain coaching certifications and keep copies on file annually.
• Adhere to health & safety policies and TSSAA/TMSAA requirements as applicable.
• Ensure documentation of required courses is up to date when applicable.
