Quincy High School is hiring an At-Risk (31A) paraprofessional to support the instructional staff in delivering targeted academic services to identified At-Risk students.
You will work 33–35 hours per week when students are in session, reinforce math and English in small groups, monitor progress, coordinate with counselors and teachers, maintain logs, and report progress to the principal and counselor as needed. This position is grant funded.

The At-Risk (31A) paraprofessionals will assist the teaching staff in carrying out duties to provide additional academic services to At-Risk (31A) identified struggling students. The paraprofessional will work approximately 33-35 hours per week when students are in session, and single coverage benefits are provided. This position is grant funded.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primarily work with small groups of students to reinforce learning in academicareas - math and English (reading/writing)
Progress monitor students in intervention groups
Meet with counselors, teachers, coaches, interventionists to discuss student needs
Keep daily activity logs that include the subject, objective, time, and student
Keep the principal and counselor appraised of the progress of At-Risk (31A) students
Paraprofessionals will have the capacity to support high school students.
