BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking an HR Systems Analyst to provide second-tier support for HR systems, including Workday and LMS. The role requires handling system tasks, onboarding processes, and maintaining documentation while coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced office in Columbia, SC.

The position is full-time and onsite, Monday–Friday, with standard office hours. Sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• 3 years system support experience and customer service experience.
• Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with 2 years related work experience (total 5 years).
• 7 total years of required work experience, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide second tier support for HR Systems and security administration.
• Process system tasks and requests to meet department SLAs and audits.
• Manage worker documents, announcements, and other system content requests.
• Perform job and administration functions related to hires and onboarding.
• Serve as the HR Systems primary analyst for assigned areas.
• Identify and analyze business needs, define scope/objectives, track feature releases.
• Manage and track weekly service updates.
• Support project deliverables using PM techniques and artifacts.
• Assist in testing activities and collection of project artifacts.
• Escalate system issues to senior team members.
• Maintain current department documentation.
• Pursue self-development on system content for practical application.
• Review recurring issues and propose updates or training.

Description

Position Purpose Provide customer service support for Human Resources inquiries and queries involving the HCM system. Provide second tier escalation of inquiries and support system upgrades and system enhancements.

This is a full time and fully onsite (40 hours a week Monday-Friday) position, working in a typical office environment, located in Columbia, South Carolina.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future.

What You'll Do

• Provide second tier support for HR Systems (Workday, Learning Management System, SharePoint, etc.), account administration and security administration system requests.
• Process system tasks and requests from various areas accurately and in accordance with department SLAs to meet department and audit requirements.
• Manage and maintain worker documents, announcements, and other system content requests.
• Perform job and administration functions related to hires and onboarding.
• Serve as the HR Systems primary analyst for assigned areas.
• Identify and analyze business needs, conducts regular meetings gathering and defining scope and objectives, tracking feature releases, and providing guidance to functional areas.
• Manage and track all weekly service updates.
• Responsible for supporting system functional deliverables using project management techniques, to include but not limited to developing project plans, monitoring milestones, and coordinating project process up to successful deliverables.
• May also aid in the testing execution phase of projects to include collection of project artifacts.
• Escalate system issues to senior level team members.
• Support team members ensuring department documentation is updated and current.
• Responsible for self-development on appropriate system content in library and apply in work.
• Responsible for reviewing repeated system issues and making recommendations for updates, system enhancements, education or training or other documentation.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following

• Bachelor's.
• Associates degree plus an extra 2 years job related work experience for a total of 5 years of required work experience (see "required work experience")
• OR 7 total years required work experience.

Required Work Experience

• 3 years system support experience and customer service experience.

Required Software and Tools

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Strong understanding of LMS, ATS and HCM systems.

We Prefer That You Have the Following

• Prior hands-on experience configuring Workday Modules and/or Cornerstone systems or similar HCM/LMS systems.
• Business Analysis or similar experience such as requirements gathering.
