Job summary

The City of Springfield is seeking an experienced HRIS & Payroll Specialist to manage daily payroll processes and maintain the integrity of HRMS records for 2,000+ employees on a bi-weekly schedule.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Information Systems department to review, test, and implement HRMS changes and upgrades, use advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas), and solve payroll data issues with accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with one year of professional HRIS/payroll or analytics experience.
• Experience with HRMS payroll processes.
• Oracle HRMS experience preferred.
• Ability to research problems and recommend solutions.
