Job summary

FHLB Des Moines seeks an HRIS and Analytics Specialist to support and maintain HR systems, primarily Workday HCM, while developing reports and dashboards in Power BI. You will be the technical contact for HR functions, ensuring data integrity and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities include configuring HR processes, managing access controls, and supporting annual HR cycles. A strong analytical mindset and collaboration with HR and external vendors are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR system administration experience, including multiple Workday HCM modules.
• Knowledge/experience with Workday and Power BI desired.
• Strong analytical approach in developing HR solutions.
• Ability to partner and build collaborative relationships internally and with vendors.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor and configure core Workday HCM Modules (Core HCM, Talent, Absence, Recruiting, Benefits, Learning, etc.).
• Configure and maintain business processes, eligibility rules, condition rules, notifications, and alerts.
• Monitor and configure security roles and domain security policies for functional areas.
• Provide end-user support and serve as primary contact for inquiries and issues.
• Develop and maintain reporting framework and dashboards within the system.
• Create reports to capture workforce data and provide analysis.
• Perform data quality audits and troubleshoot issues within HR systems.

Associate’s degree in human resources, IT, or business or related field
