  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for analytics and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, data governance and employment practices.

Job description

We're seeking a Dayforce HRIS Expert for a growing law firm in Washington, DC.

In this role, you'll serve as the Dayforce subject matter expert and play a key role in managing HR data integrity, reporting, and system administration. This position supports HR operations through advanced analytics, reporting, compensation administration, and oversight of employee data across integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain HRIS (Dayforce), ensuring data accuracy, security, and seamless system integration.
  • Create and manage workflows, forms, dashboards, positions, and employee records.
  • Support performance management and learning systems, including evaluation processes and training records.
  • Prepare compensation analyses, salary benchmarking, bonus modeling, and wage notices.
  • Develop routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations using HR data.
  • Manage compliance reporting, including EEO-1 and state pay data submissions.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and business leaders to improve processes and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of HRIS and HR analytics experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong experience with Dayforce administration, reporting, data management, and payroll-related systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, employment practices, and data governance.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
