What you'll do

This position requires a minimum of two years' experience in UKG (Kronos) HR and/or UKG Workforce Management.

This is a Hybrid position that requires one day onsite per week in Cooperstown, NY or Oneonta, NY. Highly qualified candidates with extensive experience and systems knowledge in UKG will be considered for fully remote opportunities

The HRIS Analyst is a key resource for the Human Resources department. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining the data integrity of all HR Information Systems (HRIS) and software applications. The HRIS Analyst compiles accurate and timely reports, develops metrics, and identifies trends. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for providing support and project implementation services for human resources applications. The HRIS Analyst works with internal Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams to define system specifications/requirements, design, develop, program, and test features and functionality within various HR modules/applications. The HRIS Analyst responsibilities include primary ownership (serving as Subject Matter Expert) of medium-to-high complexity modules/applications. Requires solid understanding of HR business processes, workflow, and system architecture. The HRIS Analyst will partner with IT to address system break-fixes and routine patch/upgrade rollouts.

  • Maintain quality and consistency of the HCM platform
  • Provide support to ensure employee records are accurate and audit-ready as needed
  • Ensure that all data feeds are streamlined and operational
  • Serve as a liaison between HR and IT to troubleshoot system issues. Communicate any changes in the HRIS systems with all HR staff members and be available to answer related questions
  • Research and resolve problems with configuration, rules, process flows, implementation, and integration of new systems
  • Monitor and track vendor’s problem recognition and resolution efforts
  • Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of HR system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades or fixes
  • Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting various reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in developing standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
  • Assist employees and leaders with HCM application portal navigation and training; develop instructional system guides
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train end-users on new processes/functionality. Train new system users
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS, focusing on product and service development, delivery, and support. Apply key technologies and examine trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques. Continuously increase HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge through classes, reading, or other mechanisms
  • Review and approve security access to HR systems
  • Continuously audit HR and Payroll databases for data quality and integrity by running queries and analyzing data
  • Develop standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Respond to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests from other departments or requesting agencies. Report data errors to the Director, HR Operations, especially data used for reporting purposes
  • Produce monthly and quarterly scorecards. Conduct data analysis on HR data such as turnover, classification, employment, employee relations, and benefits data as requested
  • Provide support and project implementation services for HR applications. Collaborate with internal partners to analyze, program, test, document, and implement medium-to-high complexity projects
  • Participate in project groups and task forces related to utilization of existing capabilities, upgrades, and other topics
  • Coordinate, schedule, and track progress of specialized work projects
  • Process employee data transactions in the core HRIS system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely entry
  • Manage HR Operations inbox
  • Review and approve security access to HR systems
  • Set priorities and manage diverse tasks with minimal guidance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
What we need from you

Education:

  • High School or GED, required
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, IT, or Business Administration, preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years HR Systems experience, required
  • Minimum 3 years Microsoft Excel experience, required
  • Minimum 1 year Analytical and data integrity management experience, required
  • Minimum 2 years Knowledge of UKG (Kronos) HR and/or UKG Workforce Management experience, required
  • Minimum 1 year Project Management experience, preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Pay Range

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.

Pay Range Minimum: USD $74,953.23/Yr.

Pay Range Maximum: USD $112,429.85/Yr.
