Ryder HRIS Analyst - REMOTE

The HRIS Analyst is a support-level position within the HRIS organization. This role involves assisting with and maintaining Human Resource Information System (HRIS) applications, including time & attendance and HCM programs, along with other systems supported by the HRIS team. The analyst serves as a technical point-of-contact for designated functional areas, ensuring data integrity through configurations, testing system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvements. Additionally, the role supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects.

Essential Functions

  • Develop, maintain, and support custom pay rule configurations, reports, and queries supporting both union and non-union environments, utilizing various time & attendance systems, Workday HCM, and additional tools.
  • Create standard alerts and Cognos reports to meet ongoing customer needs.
  • Maintain data integrity in HRIS systems by conducting audits, running queries, and analyzing data.
  • Analyze, prepare business requirements, design, plan, and implement modifications and enhancements to HRIS and other systems.
  • Execute mass data changes in core systems, including EIB, ensuring high data integrity.
  • Research and resolve HRIS-related issues, perform scheduled activities, and recommend solutions.
  • Provide timely, accurate responses to inquiries and distribute training materials to improve managerial efficiency.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience with systems implementation and project management techniques (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, or related field (required).
  • At least 3 years of experience with HRIS systems, preferably in Workday HCM and Infor/WFM (required).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook (advanced level, required).
  • Advanced skills in Cognos reporting and Apache Groovy programming (required).
  • Intermediate experience with Workday HCM and Infor/WFM systems (preferred).

Travel

  • Yes, 0-10% travel required.

Applicants from California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York City, and Washington: Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, skills, experience, degrees, and certifications. The salary range for this position is $70K to $85K.
