Job summary

The Doe Run Company seeks an HRIS Analyst to lead HRIS initiatives from our St. Louis headquarters. You will oversee HR systems reliability, upgrades, and payroll-related configurations while partnering with HR and IT to support end users.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of HR systems experience, proficiency with UKG/ADP/Paycor, and strong Excel skills to deliver accurate reports and security oversight for sensitive data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Computer Science, or related field; 3 years HR systems experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 7 years HR systems experience is considered.
  • HR System implementation and/or migration experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and maintain the configuration of HR systems to ensure efficient business process automation for Timekeeping and core HR System.
  • Participate on the team to monitor, maintain, and recommend upgrades for electronic HR systems: Ultimate, Bswift, SuccessFactors, and LMS.
  • Assist in configuration of HR and payroll-related functions. Test and validate upgrades. Monitor system security and maintain documentation. Act as back-up for payroll processing.
  • Collaborate across the organization to support and educate HR and other end users in the effective use of the HR systems.
  • Assist with interfaces and integrations including benefits, compensation, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Create, run, and enhance existing reports from all HRIS systems. Provide the Legal Dept with personnel records and data as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Doe Run Company is seeking a HRIS Analyst to be the technical lead for the Human Resources Information Systems responsible for maintaining and improving the functionality of HR systems, troubleshooting and problem-solving HRIS issues, and designing and testing all system upgrades and conversions. This position is based out of our Corporate Office in St. Louis, MO.

This position offers a competitive base pay and is eligible for the Company variable pay (bonus) plan. Benefits start on the first day and include insurance, paid time off, and various customer discount programs.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of relevant experience in HR systems (UKG,ADP, Paycor, etc.); may consider a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in HR systems (UKG, ADP, Paycor, etc.).
  • HR System implementation and/or migration experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) preferred, or other HR Systems.

  • Proficient organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient project management skills, leading multi-site projects.
  • Detail- and results-oriented.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills to convey information and provide assistance to employees.
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information.

Basic knowledge of laws related to benefits, confidentiality, and the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate on the team to monitor, maintain, and recommend upgrades for electronic HR systems: Ultimate, Bswift, SuccessFactors, and LMS.
  • Assist in configuration of HR and payroll-related functions. Test and validate any upgrades. Monitor system security and maintain documentation. Act as the back-up for payroll processing.
  • Collaborate across the entire organization to support and educate HR and other end users in the effective use of the HR systems, effectively communicating technical information to non-technical users.
  • Assist with interfaces and integrations including benefits, compensation, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Create, run, and enhance existing reports from all HRIS systems. Provide the Legal Dept with personnel records and data as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Environmental Conditions, Physical & Lifting Requirements:

  • Computer, tablet, phone, 10-key keyboard, scanner, printers, and other office technology.
  • Regularly exposed to office noises in a standard office setting.
  • Regularly sitting and repetitive wrist and/or finger movement. Frequently talking, hearing. Occasionally standing & walking. Clarity of vision is required at 20 inches or less and at 20 feet or more with the ability to identify and distinguish colors. Frequently required to expend concentrated attention.
  • Rarely required to lift up to 15 pounds of boxes for open enrollment or mailings management.
