Job Summary

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining and supporting the Louisville Water Company's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role ensures the system functions effectively to support HR processes, objectives, organizational changes, and projects.

The candidate must have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to translate user needs into technical requirements. Collaboration with stakeholders to enhance HR operations through technology is essential.

Essential Job Functions

1. Collaborate with HR to identify needs and translate them into system configurations within Oracle Cloud HCM.
2. Evaluate system usage and recommend improvements, including training and customization.
3. Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues.
4. Develop and maintain documentation, manuals, and workflows.
5. Support HR processes, reports, and compliance including talent management, compensation, benefits, recruiting, and attrition.
6. Assist in system maintenance during upgrades and patches.
7. Prepare reports and present findings to HR and company personnel.
8. Provide ongoing support and training to HR staff and end-users.
9. Monitor system performance and collaborate with IT to resolve issues and improve capabilities.
10. Stay updated on HCM trends, best practices, and new functionalities.
11. Assist in data analysis and reporting by creating HR dashboards within Oracle Cloud HCM.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Working Conditions

Typically, a 40-hour work week in an office environment. Travel between facilities for training and job support. Off-hour support including weekends and incident response may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience as an HRIS Analyst supporting HCM processes, including system implementation and configuration.
• Valid driver's license.
