Job summary

Morgan Hunter is partnering with a large Kansas City organization to hire an HRIS Administrator as it continues to modernize its HR function. This role focuses on Workday configuration, testing, data validation, documentation, training, and go-live readiness.

You will manage ongoing HRIS administration, including workflows, security, reporting, and integrations, while partnering with Payroll, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Finance to drive efficient HR processes across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting HR systems.
• HRIS platform experience required; Workday experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with HRIS implementations, conversions, upgrades, or integrations.
• Ability to translate HR and business needs into practical system solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Workday training or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HRIS resource and lead Workday implementation activities.
• Manage ongoing HRIS administration including workflows, security, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, IT, Finance, and external partners.
• Maintain data integrity through audits, reconciliations, testing, and quality reviews.
• Develop reports, dashboards, analytics, and ad hoc reporting to support business needs.
• Support system integrations, upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve HR processes.

• Serve as a primary HRIS resource and help lead the organization through its Workday implementation Support system configuration, testing, data validation, documentation, training, and go-live readiness
• Manage ongoing HRIS administration, including workflows, business processes, security, access, reporting, and troubleshooting
• Partner closely with Payroll, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Business Partners, IT, Finance, and external partners
• Maintain data integrity through audits, reconciliations, testing, and ongoing quality reviews
• Develop reports, dashboards, analytics, and ad hoc reporting to support business needs
• Support system integrations, upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve HR processes as the organization continues to evolve
