Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including HRBP leadership.
  • 5+ years leading and developing teams of HRBPs in global organizations.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams within technology, semiconductor, engineering, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Proven success leading organizational transformation, change management, and organizational design initiatives.
  • Experience operating as a strategic advisor to senior executives and business leaders.

Position Overview

The Senior Director, HR Business Partners serves as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership, partnering closely with senior business leaders to shape organizational strategy, accelerate business transformation, and build the leadership and organizational capabilities required to achieve Power Integrations' long-term growth objectives.

This role plays a critical leadership position in helping the company scale globally by driving organizational effectiveness, leading complex change initiatives, strengthening leadership capability, and ensuring the organization is structured to support innovation, growth, and operational excellence.

The Senior Director will lead a globally distributed team of experienced HR Business Partners and establish a high-performing HRBP function that serves as a catalyst for business performance, organizational health, and talent excellence. This leader will work closely with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Operations, to deliver integrated people strategies that enable business success.

This role requires a strategic and commercially minded HR executive with deep expertise in organizational design, change management, leadership effectiveness, and talent strategy within complex, high-growth technology environments.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership & Executive Advisory
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and senior leaders on business strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with business leaders to align talent and organizational strategies with long-term business objectives and growth priorities.
  • Influence senior leadership decision-making through data-driven insights, organizational diagnostics, and workforce analytics.
  • Anticipate organizational challenges and proactively develop people strategies that enable business outcomes.
Organizational Design & Effectiveness
  • Lead enterprise and functional organizational design initiatives to support growth, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Guide leaders through organizational restructuring, team design, role clarity, governance models, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Assess organizational effectiveness and implement solutions that improve accountability, collaboration, and business performance.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance organizational maturity and strengthen execution across global teams.
Change Management & Transformation Leadership
  • Lead large-scale organizational transformation and change management initiatives across the business.
  • Develop change strategies that support business evolution, drive adoption, and minimize organizational disruption.
  • Partner with executives during periods of growth, restructuring, integration, and business transformation.
  • Equip leaders with tools, frameworks, and coaching to effectively lead through change and uncertainty.
  • Champion organizational agility and continuous improvement across the enterprise.
Leadership Effectiveness & Talent Strategy
  • Drive enterprise talent discussions focused on succession planning, leadership development, and organizational capability building.
  • Develop strategies that strengthen executive and leadership pipelines across key functions.
  • Coach and develop senior leaders to enhance leadership effectiveness, influence, and organizational impact.
  • Lead talent review processes that identify critical talent risks and accelerate the development of high-potential employees.
  • Foster a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and performance excellence.
HRBP Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of seasoned HR Business Partners supporting global business functions.
  • Establish consistent HRBP practices, operating models, and standards focused on strategic business impact.
  • Build team capability in organizational consulting, change management, executive coaching, and workforce strategy.
  • Foster collaboration across HRBPs and Centers of Excellence to ensure a seamless employee and leader experience.
  • Create a highly engaged, high-performing HRBP organization recognized as a strategic partner to the business.
Talent, Culture & Workforce Planning
  • Lead strategic workforce planning efforts to ensure the organization has the capabilities required for future growth.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure hiring strategies support critical business priorities and long-term talent needs.
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, organizational culture, retention, and leadership accountability.
  • Help leaders create inclusive, high-performing environments that attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent.
Global Partnership & Enterprise Collaboration
  • Partner with leaders across global regions to ensure talent and organizational strategies are effectively deployed worldwide.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions across compensation, talent management, leadership development, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency of talent and organizational practices while addressing regional business needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including significant HR Business Partner leadership experience.
  • 5+ years leading and developing teams of HR Business Partners in complex, global organizations.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams within technology, semiconductor, engineering, manufacturing, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, change management, and organizational design initiatives.
