HR Transformation Project Manager (Local Candidates Only)

SolomonEdwards is currently seeking an HR Transformation Project Manager (Hybrid) on a 6 plus month contract basisfor a company located in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have proven project management experience within large global industries. This role will focus on PM principles supporting the Global HR footprint.

The HR Transformation Project Manager will be responsible for managing global HR initiatives, specifically focusing on the transformation of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) work. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and vendor partners to ensure successful project implementation and operational readiness.

Responsibilities of the HR Transformation Project Manager:

  • Work with key stakeholders to scope specific HR project outlines and timescales, creating and managing a complex, integrated project plan.
  • Collaborate with two key vendor partners to ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time.
  • Determine required resources inside and outside of the core project team for successful project implementation.
  • Monitor and communicate project status to HR leadership and the program governance committee, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Document and manage RAID items, ensuring timely management of risks, issues, decisions, assumptions, actions, and dependencies.
  • Make data-driven decisions across the project lifecycle in the context of broader program needs.
  • Build and nurture relationships within the core project team and stakeholders.
  • Lead individual project tasks/activities to ensure operational readiness for post-project handover.

Requirements for the HR Transformation Project Manager:

  • Experience leading global HR transformation projects globally and/or regionally.
  • Heavy Process Mapping experience is required.
  • Experience working in and/or leading Waterfall/Agile projects/programs and associated practices and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills related to operational, product, revenue, and program metrics.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills related to People KPIs and reporting.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization.
  • Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Strong organizational change management skills, flexibility and collaborative spirit with proven conflict resolution and arbitration experience
  • Proven ability to lead, counsel, influence and find win-win compromise solutions and motivate diverse project teams
  • Ability to independently drive decisions and think creatively; demonstrated effectiveness at conflict management and consensus building
  • Ability to manage meetings with Senior/Executive leadership by facilitating, leading and driving discussions

Salary Range: $70hr to $90hr

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5pm

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
