Job summary

Maximus in Tysons, VA is seeking an experienced senior HR/operations lead to steer defined workstreams, deliver cohesive recommendations, and support strategic HR initiatives across multiple service lines. You will coach analysts, manage scope and timelines, and drive continuous improvement through automation and AI enablement.

The role requires 5+ years in HR/consulting, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR, public policy, I/O psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in HR, management consulting, business analysis, or project management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined workstreams within engagements, structuring analysis and delivering cohesive recommendations.
• Serve as a multi-skilled resource supporting strategic HR initiatives with cross-team resources.
• Act as delivery lead on smaller engagements, manage scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Guide Analysts, provide coaching and ensure quality across service lines.
• Maintain engagement RACI, identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• Advise on staffing, skills matching, and capacity across concurrent engagements.
• Drive process re-engineering, automation, and AI enablement across HR and enterprise functions.
