Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a talented HR co-op in Ridgefield, CT to support HR technology initiatives and process improvements. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, pilot projects, and delivering scalable solutions with a focus on responsible AI and data privacy.

The 6-month, full-time co-op offers on-site expectations of three days per week and an hourly rate of $20–$30, commensurate with degree program level. This position supports HR operations and analytics within BI USA.

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
• Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR, business, and technology stakeholders to assess HR processes and technology needs.
• Collaborate with local IT to pilot innovative technologies (AI/ML, data science, LLMs, IoT, APIs, databases/SQL, RPA).
• Execute pilot projects using Agile methodologies; document design, lessons, and outcomes.
• Support HR initiatives including dashboards, performance management, talent development, headcount tracking.
• Develop project plans, monitor milestones and risks, gather stakeholder feedback.
• Define and track success metrics like adoption, efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
• Create training materials, communications, and demonstrations to support adoption.
• Ensure data privacy, security, responsible AI, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide project management and analytical support for additional HR initiatives.
