Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an HRSS Specialist to serve as the first contact for team members needing HR support. You will respond accurately, maintain confidentiality, and escalate issues to subject matter experts as needed.

In this role, you will assist with onboarding, payroll, PTO, I-9s, background checks, and employment verification while delivering courteous service and documenting inquiries for continuous improvement within the HR team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to actively listen, prioritize, and problem solve.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional image in a variety of situations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of contact for HR related functions such as background checks, employment verification, I-9s, onboarding, payroll, PTO, status changes, and rehire eligibility.
• Triage and respond to incoming calls and correspondence and escalates issues to a subject matter expert as necessary.
• Actively listen to team members to understand inquiries and provide courteous feedback and follow up.
• Maintain confidentiality of all HR related information and assist other HR teams as needed.
