Job summary

MegaMex Foods in Dallas is seeking a skilled HR Supervisor to lead policies, compliance, and employee relations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will develop and maintain policies, coach managers, administer benefits, oversee payroll compliance, conduct reviews, and drive HR audits and reporting. The role requires a BA/BS in HR and at least 6 years of HR experience, with strong communication and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in HR.
• Working knowledge of policies, procedures and practices regarding Human Resources, safety, labor laws (federal and state), Workers' Compensation, etc.
• Analytical, problem solving, decision making, negotiating, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist on developing, reviewing, and maintaining personnel policies and procedures.
• Provide HR guidance and coaching to employees and managers on HR policies and processes, people management, and career development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Process complaints regarding workplace harassment or discrimination and employee relations issues.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist management with external audits and internal HR audits.
• Prepare HR reports and employment statistics.
• Conduct performance reviews and evaluation process for non-exempt employees.
• Administer employee benefits and manage enrollment for all employees.
• Ensure compliance of HR mandatory trainings.
• Supervise the timekeeping process.
• Maintain payroll records and compliance.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Promote employee engagement programs.
• Support recruiting, selection and hiring of new employees.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes with best practices.

What you will be doing:

• Conduct performance reviews and evaluation process for non-exempt employees and provide guidance to address job performance issues.
• Administer employee benefit and manage enrollment process for all employees.
• Ensure compliance of HR mandatory trainings.
• Supervise the execution of timely timekeeping process.
• Ensure payroll records are maintained and in compliance.
• Facilitate new hire orientation for non-exempt/exempt employees and manage onboarding process.
• Participate and promote programs for employee engagement.
• Support in the recruiting, selection and hiring of new employees.
• Leads continuous improvement of HR processes, applying structured problem‑solving methods and aligning with enterprise HR standards and best practices.
• Process additional supervisory and administrative tasks as required.

What you will bring to the team:

• BA/BS in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in HR.
• Working knowledge of policies, procedures and practices regarding Human Resources, safety, labor laws (federal and state), Workers' Compensation, etc.
• Analytical, problem solving, decision making, negotiating, and influencing skills.
• Experience in a variety of work settings including manufacturing and warehouse.
• Must be able to manage a HR team of professionals
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with all levels of the organization including employee relations, coaching, etc.
• Ability to prioritize, maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, and follow up on projects and tasks.
• Must possess moderate to advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite
