Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an HR professional to interpret and guide policy for leaders and employees in the Cleveland area. You will partner with business units and HR leaders to proactively manage employee issues and align initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2+ years of progressive HR experience required.
• Employee relations experience preferred.
• Direct knowledge of recruitment, compensation, benefits, wages and hour regulations.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem solving ability.
• Strong client service, communication, presentation and relationship building skills.
• Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office.
• PHR or SHRM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides HR policy interpretation and guidance to leaders and employees.
• Partner with business units to develop strategies to manage employee issues and mitigate risk.
• Acts as interface between business unit leadership and HR to align initiatives with goals.
• Assist with change management initiatives in assigned business units.
• Performs analysis on HR items such as turnover, retention, compensation, etc. and makes recommendations.
• Uses data analytics to evaluate and drive improved results.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
