The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to provide administrative and project support across HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and compensation administration. You will manage Paycom data entry, draft employee communications, assist with team recognition programs, and help ensure policy updates and compliance across the HR team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of progressive HR or admin experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel; Paycom preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate recruitment and onboarding for new hires.
• Enter HR data in Paycom and process personnel data changes.
• Answer routine HR policy questions; triage complex issues.
• Create employee communications and recognition materials.
• Support benefits administration and records keeping.
• Collaborate on HR policy updates and process improvements.
• Review invoices and submit to Accounts Payable.
• Process check requests.
