Compliance & Coordination: Ensure adherence to FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation laws, and other regulations. Oversee leave of absence documentation, approvals, and communication with both employees and supervisors.

Safety & Training: Evaluate workplace injuries concerning OSHA regulations, recommend safety improvements, and assist in training employees and managers on safety and emergency procedures.

Vendor Management: Serve as the primary contact for third-party administrators, outside counsel, and medical professionals, ensuring smooth coordination and timely communication throughout the process.

Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential records for all workers' compensation and leave cases. Prepare reports and assist with accidental disability retirement documentation.

Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in workers' compensation administration, insurance claims management, leave and absence management, or a related field. Experience in employee relations and case management is highly preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Workers' Compensation, FMLA, ADA, 111F, and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, vendors, and medical providers.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.

Abilities:

  • Ability to manage confidential medical information with discretion.
  • Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address case management challenges.
