Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks an HR Specialist to assist with personnel support, records management, and data entry. You will help Soldiers develop their Guard careers and coordinate requests for evaluations, ID cards, and leave processing.

You will also handle benefits information, training programs, and readiness of Soldiers while maintaining filing systems and correspondence. This role requires attention to detail and strong people skills within a military environment.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for business administration is required.
• Ability to follow detailed orders is essential.
• Strong people skills are important for interaction with Soldiers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist on all human resource support matters
• Oversight of all strength management and strength distribution actions
• Responsible for the readiness, health, and welfare of all Soldiers
• Postal and personnel accountability support
• Maintain emergency notification data
