DC Army National Guard is seeking an HR Specialist to support personnel services and benefits for Soldiers. You will help maintain records, process data, and coordinate awards, evaluations, and IDs while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Roles include managing personnel files, assisting in training and development, and coordinating communications within the Guard. This position emphasizes service to both military personnel and civilian HR functions with paid training and tuition assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in personnel or human resources administration preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed orders and maintain records.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist on all human resource support matters
• Oversee strength management and strength distribution actions
• Ensure readiness, health, and welfare of Soldiers
• Provide postal and personnel accountability support
