Job summary

DECA Dental Group is hiring a Human Resources Specialist for its People Team in a fast-paced, data-driven environment in Dallas. You will manage onboarding, HR analytics, and employee relations while ensuring compliance and process improvements.

The role emphasizes high-volume HR operations, data integrity, and collaboration with leadership to drive employee engagement and retention. A Bachelor’s in HR and 3–5 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in an HR coordinator or HRG role preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume hourly workforce is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify root causes.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
• Strong data reporting and analytics skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Curious, adaptable mindset and excellent organizational discipline.
• Experience managing employee relations investigations.
• Experience using an HRMS system for onboarding and E-verify tasks.
• Experience with workers’ compensation, DOL/EEO reporting, and internal audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter new hires into ADP and monitor onboarding tasks, ensuring I-9 E-verify is completed.
• Process HR reports weekly/monthly for stakeholders and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Investigate tier 1 employee relations issues and document outcomes.
• Plan and host employee engagement events with internal/external partners.
• Recommend improvements to HR programs to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
