Job summary

CTL Aerospace in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks an HR Assistant/Generalist to support full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations in a fast-paced, aerospace environment. You will maintain HRIS data in PLEX, manage job postings in Paycor, generate routine HR reports, and help coordinate orientations and employee events.

CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures.

Consider being a part of the CTL Aerospace Team! We are seeking a motivated professional who wants to make daily impacts in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment! This position reports to the Head of Human Resources.

We are conveniently located in northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

Job Description

• Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for technical roles.
• Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews.
• Arrange pre-employment requirements, including physicals and drug screenings.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientations.
• Prepare orientation materials, benefits packets, and review employment applications.
• Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding company policies and procedures.
• Partner with managers to administer employee counseling and attendance-related documentation.
• Generate and distribute routine HR reports (absences, vacation, employment activity, etc.) for authorized personnel.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data within the ERP system (PLEX) and personnel files; process unemployment claims as needed.
• Create and manage job postings in Paycor.
• Perform general HR administrative and clerical duties and support special projects as assigned.
• Coordinate company-sponsored employee events and activities.
• Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed.

Job Requirements

• 3–5 years of HR Assistant/HR Generalist experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or a regulated manufacturing industry.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, EEO) and security compliance requirements. ITAR a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems. PLEX preferred.
• Ability to work in an office/manufacturing environment
• Understand the importance of confidentiality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and sound time management skills
• Able to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
