Job summary

Goosehead Insurance seeks a motivated HR Generalist to join our HR Shared Services team. You will support teammates and leaders across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate HRIS data, compliant processes, and timely responses to inquiries.

You will educate users on self-service tools, handle onboarding through offboarding, assist with audits and process improvements, and partner with Benefits, Payroll, and Legal to deliver a high-quality employee experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting HR processes across onboarding, changes, transfers, and offboarding.
• Ability to educate teammates on HR resources and self-service tools.
• Experience with HRIS data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for teammates and leaders regarding routine HR questions, processes, policies, and procedures.
• Respond to HR inquiries through service channels with accurate, timely guidance.
• Educate teammates and leaders on available HR resources and self-service tools.
• Escalate complex or sensitive matters to HR teams including HRBPs, Benefits, Leave, Payroll, or Legal.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
• Support onboarding, changes, transfers, job changes, and offboarding.
• Process employment and immigration-related documentation in line with procedures.
• Support termination and offboarding with accurate HRIS transactions.
• Generate and maintain HR reports to support compliance and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve data integrity, reporting, and HRIS processes.
• Assist with HR compliance activities, audits, and documentation.
• Maintain employee records in accordance with retention requirements.
• Support training and knowledge management with process docs and FAQs.
• Collaborate with HR teams and cross-functional partners to improve processes.
