Job Title: HR Shared Services & AI Solutions Specialist
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite 5 days a week)
Employment Type: Contract-To-Direct
Compensation: $32 / hour (possible flexibility)
Schedule: This is a full time 40 hours a week position, but they would be open to a contractor that is only able to work 20-30 hours per week.
About the Opportunity
This is an avenue to potentially become a direct salaried employee of a global large growing organization in the semiconductor industry. We are looking for a hungry HR generalist, HR coordinator, or HR systems expert, that wants to grow within the HR organization that has many growth opportunities. Initially the work will not be glamorous with administrative duties with old HR documents. But what is exciting is how we can bring AI in to facilitate these duties and other HR shared services needs, locally and potentially throughout the organization globally.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver responsive HR Shared Services support, including employee inquiries, onboarding, offboarding, HR transactions, case handling, and records management.
- Maintain, audit, cleanse, and improve HR data across systems to strengthen accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Assess HR workflows, identify automation opportunities, and develop measurable business cases for AI-enabled improvements.
- Design and test proof-of-concept solutions, including AI agents, digital assistants, reporting tools, and workflow automations.
- Manage HR technology and process improvement projects, including scope, plans, timelines, risks, stakeholder communication, testing, implementation, and results tracking.
- Partner with HR, Information Technology, and business leaders to evaluate, pilot, integrate, and scale successful solutions.
- Redesign HR processes using effective human-and-AI operating models that improve service quality and reduce manual effort.
- Create and maintain process maps, operating procedures, knowledge articles, governance standards, and responsible AI best practices.
- Support HR reporting and analytics, translating operational data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Build AI capability across HR through practical guidance, demonstrations, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements
What You’ll Bring
Min Associate's degree and ideally either holding a Bachelor's degree or within a year of finishing the Bachelor's degree
Min 3 years of experience supporting HR operations or similar Shared Services environment that includes:
- A strong desire to learn
- Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to accuracy and detail.
- Experience working with HR information systems, timekeeping, payroll, case management, or comparable enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with generative AI and productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions.
- Project coordination or project management experience, including prioritizing work, managing timelines, and driving deliverables to completion.
- Min 4 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

- Experience leading process improvement, service delivery transformation, or technology implementation projects.
- Experience building AI-enabled workflows, reporting solutions, automations, agents, chatbots, or digital assistants.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Platform, or comparable low-code tools.
- Knowledge of HR operations, the employee lifecycle, and Shared Services delivery models.
- Experience with process mining, Lean, Six Sigma, or other workflow optimization methods.
- Experience developing business cases and measuring return on investment, productivity gains, adoption, or service improvements.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data privacy, security, and governance in an enterprise environment.
