Job summary

The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa, part of Omni Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a dynamic Human Resources leader to oversee training, employee relations, development programs and recruitment.

You will guide the HR team, post positions, coordinate interviews, manage visa programs, and ensure compliance with local laws while delivering exceptional service in a luxury Virginia resort setting. This on-site role requires excellent communication, and a proactive, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Two years of Human Resources Management experience, preferably on-site in a high-volume environment.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to mentor department heads and managers.
• Strong ability to engage associates at all levels and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support all functions of the Human Resources department, including training, employee relations, development programs and recruitment.
• Post open positions on the Omni Careers website and local boards; coordinate scheduling of interviews.
• Ensure timely tracking of applicants and adherence to interview/approval processes.
• Oversee wage surveys to maintain competitive compensation; manage J1 and H2B visa workers and compliance.
• Maintain HRIS records, including applicant flow log, drug testing, I-9s, and background checks.
