Payentry, a cloud-based HR solutions provider, seeks an HR Services Advisor to support US-based clients remotely, with a preference for West Coast time zones. You will guide small and mid-sized businesses through HR challenges and ensure compliant, efficient people practices.

Key responsibilities include developing handbooks, conducting compliance audits, addressing employee relations issues, and staying current on employment laws across jurisdictions, while partnering with payroll and benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years HR generalist experience required.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP or similar certification required.
• Strong organization and communication skills; able to explain HR concepts clearly.
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve HR issues with discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR Services clients with HR issues and projects (handbooks, audits, forms).
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters to clients.
• Respond to client queries via internal system with timely resolutions.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and trends.

We are looking for an HR Services Advisor to join our rapidly growing team! This is a remote position. Though the preference is for West coast time zone.

The HR Advisor is the primary point of contact for our HR Services clients. This role delivers hands-on HR guidance and compliance support to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States, helping them navigate everyday everyday people management, workplace compliance, and employee relations challenges. The HR Advisor acts as a trusted partner, ensuring clients have the confidence, tools, and best practices needed to manage their workforce and HR ecosystem effectively.

What you'll do:

• Assist new and currently assigned HR Services clients by helping them through HR issues and work on projects such as employee handbooks, compliance audits, review of HR forms and processes, etc.
• Provide guidance to our clients on handling employee relations issues.
• Respond to client queries through our internal system, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR trends at the Federal/Stat/Local levels.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including payroll and benefits, to deliver seamless HR support.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree or can substitute 7 years HR generalist expierence.
• Must have 5 years of HR generalist experience.
• HR Certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or similar certification.
• Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills; with the ability to explain HR concepts clearly.
• Intuitive troubleshooting/problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently while still being team oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining deadlines..
• Ability to use prudent judgment and discretion in handling confidential client information.
