Job summary

The Town of Prosper is seeking a qualified Human Resources Risk Manager to oversee risk management and employee safety programs for the Town. This role reports to the Human Resources Director and requires strong leadership in a municipal setting.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in risk management or related fields.
• Professional designation such as ARM, CRM, CSP, or related risk/safety credential preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record; pre-employment requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and administers the Town’s comprehensive risk management and employee safety programs.
• Identify and evaluate operational exposures; manage insurance and claims activities.
• Support workplace injury prevention and workers’ compensation administration.
• Partner with departments to reduce losses, protect Town assets, and promote safe delivery of municipal services.
