Job summary

Grant Thornton US is seeking an HR Risk Operations Compliance Manager to strengthen HR risk management and regulatory compliance across the firm. You will translate complex employment concepts into practical programs, policies, and controls while collaborating across People Experience, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Payroll, and Finance.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in compliance, HR program management, PMO/operations, or organizational effectiveness.
• Hands-on experience building and managing complex program plans and SOPs.
• Advanced data and reporting skills (Excel/Power BI or similar).
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint/Teams, and intranet content maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience drafting broad communications and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR regulatory monitoring and risk controls aligned with firm risk appetite.
• Develop and maintain HR risk frameworks, policies, and training programs.
• Manage firmwide compliance projects, including workforce analytics and impact analyses.
• Draft employee communications and intranet content for personnel policies.
• Drive operational excellence, process improvements, and risk-mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and global HR teams on policy alignment.
• Oversee health and safety, OFCCP-related activities, and vendor management.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance to the global data analytics team.
