Job summary

Capital One seeks an HR Manager, Vertical Risk Advisor – Tech & Automation to guide HR risk policy implementation using technology, automation, and data analytics. The role supports the Enterprise Risk Management framework and partners with Legal and Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.

The ideal candidate will develop automated dashboards, streamline risk assessments, and maintain the risk system of record while driving process efficiency across HR functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of risk management, HR, or business operations experience.
• 2+ years of process management experience.
• Experience building dashboards with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is preferred.
• Experience with data querying and scripting for automation (SQL/Python).

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR risk policies and programs across the enterprise.
• Develop risk reporting, analytics, and automated dashboards.
• Design and implement automated risk-tracking workflows and controls.
• Coordinate with HR, Legal, and Compliance on regulatory applicability.
• Support audits, exams, and regulatory changes.
