Job description

Genesis10 seeks an HR Generalist for a 3-month contract assignment in Racine, WI. We are looking for someone to fill in during a leave of absence from early June through September. The contract might be extended for the right candidate.

Compensation: $26.00 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience.

Description:

The successful HR Representative will be based in Racine, WI, partnering with the HR Manager to support employees across multiple functions and locations. The role involves understanding business strategies to assess HR implications and providing objective solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Have corporate functional HR experience
• Understand the organization's business strategies to provide HR insights and solutions
• Ensure compliance with all employment and EEO laws
• Advise managers on HR policies, procedures, compensation, benefits, and disciplinary actions
• Facilitate pay actions in line with the company's total compensation strategy
• Manage staffing processes, including discussing needs, screening applicants, and participating in interviews
• Communicate HR policies and initiatives effectively within the business unit
• Handle employee lifecycle transactions using HR systems
• Analyze trends to develop talent reporting and metrics
• Build positive employee relations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field, or 5+ years of HR generalist experience
• 3+ years' experience in an HR generalist role with demonstrated HR skills, or more than 5 years' experience without degree
• Experience with talent attraction and retention initiatives
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
