Job summary

Pilgrim’s Arcadia, WI seeks an HR Coordinator II – Recruiting Coordinator to efficiently fill open hourly plant positions and manage candidate tracking. You will partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and place applicants while upholding Pilgrim’s safety and quality standards.

This role offers growth through our Supervisor Development and Management Trainee programs, plus strong benefits and 401(k) eligibility.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years recruiting/HR experience preferred.
  • High school/GED required; higher level education preferred.
  • Bilingual required.
  • Recruiting experience strongly preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and Jobvite.
  • Customer-service orientation; excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
  • Willing to work with diverse groups and promote inclusion.
  • High energy, adaptable to change, fast-paced.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Some travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Build applicant sources via community services, colleges, agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
  • Assess eligibility by analyzing job descriptions and qualifications with hiring managers.
  • Attract applicants by posting ads and using recruiters and job sites.
  • Maintain applicant tracking logs and daily/weekly reports.
  • Post openings and track applicants in Recruitment Management System.
  • Serve as a liaison with candidates through the selection process.
  • Evaluate qualifications by interviews and references against job requirements.
  • Promote Pilgrim’s as a great place to work with information and presentations.
  • Source a pool of qualified candidates ahead of need.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials for the company.
  • Research and suggest new recruiting sources.

The wage for this position will be dependent on education and experience.

Position Summary

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for efficiently and effectively filling open positions with a primary focus on hourly plant staffing and applicant tracking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
  • Determine applicant eligibility by analyzing job descriptions and qualifications while collaborating with hiring managers/supervisors.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Maintain applicant tracking logs and manage daily and weekly reports.
  • Post openings and track applicants using the Recruitment Management System.
  • Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
  • Promote the company as the best place to work by providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Source a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Serve as a resource in developing marketing materials for the company.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
