Recruiter Position Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing the overall recruiting strategy for the company. This includes sourcing strategies, partnering with educational institutions, diversity initiatives, branding and advertising methods (including social media), and staffing agency partnerships. Additional duties involve consulting with hiring managers, reviewing resumes, conducting candidate interviews, and managing pre-hire processes.

Responsibilities
Recruiter Essential Job Functions
  • Develop, implement, and manage all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Identify and utilize effective, diverse recruiting methods based on role requirements, industry standards, and organizational needs.
  • Manage job postings and advertisements across various platforms, including applicant tracking systems (iCIMS) and social media.
  • Source candidates, review resumes, and select qualified candidates for further consideration.
  • Conduct phone interviews and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and assist new hiring managers with interview procedures.
  • Use the applicant tracking system (iCIMS) to extend job offers, manage candidate responses, and schedule pre-employment testing.
  • Establish relationships with local high schools, technical colleges, and universities for career events, fairs, tours, and classroom visits.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; HR certification is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of recruitment experience for both exempt and non-exempt roles, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience in developing sourcing strategies, branding, advertising, and utilizing social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with educational institutions.
  • Experience tracking and analyzing recruiting metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations affecting recruitment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, especially iCIMS.
  • Strong relationship-building skills internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel locally as needed.
Desirable Qualifications
  • HR Certification.
  • Participation in professional organizations and continuing education.
  • Experience in medical device recruitment is highly preferred.

Pay Range

USD $60,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 annually.
