Job summary

Jekyll Island Authority is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Recruiting & Retention) to staff and retain talent, develop recruitment strategies, and manage the applicant tracking system. You will conduct interviews, extend offers, build relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and support employee relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/related field with 2+ years of HR experience or a high school diploma with 6+ years of HR experience.
• HR certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of employee relations and safety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR services, primarily recruiting and staffing to meet position needs.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates and hiring managers, delivering excellent service.
• Manage recruiting cycle: ATS review, preliminary interviews, scheduling, references.
