Job summary

J Polep Distribution Services, a division of NCD, is seeking a Recruiter/HR Generalist for our Chicopee, MA team. You will recruit, onboard, and partner with managers to fill roles across the organization, while contributing to a friendly, collaborative HR culture.

This full-time, day-shift role requires 2–3 years recruiting experience, strong communication, and knowledge of labor laws. Paycom experience is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years recruiting experience, preferably in a light industrial environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and industry trends.
• Ability to negotiate and close deals with candidates.
• Bilingual, English/Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Understand the hiring requirements of hiring managers.
• Attract candidates through various channels like social media, professional networks and job fairs.
• Create and maintain job postings
• Review resumes and screen candidates
• Schedule interviews with candidates
• Onboarding new employees
• Troubleshoot and help to resolve employee questions
