Job summary

TelevisaUnivision is seeking an HR Project Manager to lead the HR PMO in Miami, driving governance, prioritization, and delivery of complex HR initiatives. You will partner with HR, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to standardize processes and provide executive visibility into status and capacity.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strategic execution, and ongoing improvement of HR project management practices, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, preferably supporting HR, HRIS, People Operations, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects within a structured project management or portfolio management environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating governance, prioritization, risk management, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess business needs and recommend practical solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for communicating at all levels.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is preferred.
• Experience supporting HR technology implementations (such as Workday or other HCM platforms) is strongly preferred.
• PMP, CAPM, Agile, or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and continuously enhance the HR PMO framework, governance, and delivery methodology.
• Coordinate and administer the HR Portfolio Management process including intake, prioritization, and roadmap management.
• Partner with HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and business stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and success measures.
• Facilitate portfolio governance meetings and provide regular updates on project health, risks, issues, milestones, and capacity.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans for successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, project metrics, and executive reporting on delivery status and value.
• Support business case development by evaluating requests for impact, effort, complexity, and readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR project management methodologies and templates.
• Coordinate testing, change management, communications, training, and deployment activities as needed.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

• Establish and continuously enhance the HR Project Management Office (PMO) framework, governance, and project delivery methodology, including standardized processes for project intake, prioritization, planning, execution, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Coordinate and administer the HR Portfolio Management process, including project intake, prioritization, roadmap management, governance, status reporting, and executive communications.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, IT, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and business stakeholders to define project scope, business requirements, timelines, dependencies, and success measures.
• Facilitate portfolio governance meetings, maintain project documentation, and provide regular updates on project health, risks, issues, milestones, and resource capacity.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, project metrics, and executive reporting that provide visibility into delivery status, resource utilization, business value, and strategic alignment.
• Support business case development by evaluating project requests for business impact, effort, complexity, risk, regulatory requirements, and organizational readiness.
