Job summary

Proven Recruiting, a biomedical research organization in La Jolla, CA, is seeking an HR Process Documentation Specialist for a 3-6 month contract to build the foundation for scalable HR processes across People Operations.

You'll partner with HR leaders to document workflows, create SOPs, process maps, and training materials, identify gaps, and establish governance for ongoing documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR operations, process improvement, technical writing, or instructional design.
• Proven experience creating and maintaining SOPs, workflow documentation, training materials, and process maps in a corporate or nonprofit environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HRIS, and HR Business Partnering, with excellent interviewing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders and subject matter experts to document workflows, decision points, system touchpoints, and current-state processes across all HR teams.
• Create, revise, and standardize SOPs, process maps, job aids, training materials, and onboarding resources while consolidating legacy documentation.
• Identify process gaps and standardization opportunities, establish governance for documentation maintenance, and support knowledge transfer at project completion.
