Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a globally oriented Head of HR Risk & Compliance to shape and lead the risk strategy, oversee operational risk programs, and direct monthly and semiannual reporting to senior leaders.

You will maintain the global control environment, drive regulatory change management, ensure audit readiness, and partner with risk, legal and business leaders across jurisdictions. This senior role prefers experience in financial services and governance excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of global HR risk and compliance leadership in highly regulated environments
• Deep knowledge of HR compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable risk mitigation
• Experience with SMCR, Sarbanes-Oxley, FCA requirements, GDPR
• Strong collaboration with risk, legal and business leaders to drive governance

Responsibilities

• Lead the global HR risk and compliance strategy and programs
• Oversee operational risk management and control design across HR processes
• Direct monthly and semiannual risk reporting to senior leadership
• Coordinate regulatory reporting, audits, and examinations with regulators and auditors
• Build and coach the global HR risk and compliance team
• Monitor metrics and trends to measure program effectiveness and remediation actions
• Partner with risk, legal, control functions and business leaders across regions
