Job summary

Abbey Multi Academy Trust is seeking an experienced People Advisor to join our central People team on a temporary basis to provide maternity cover across our eight academies. The role involves practical, timely advice on policies and terms, plus support for recruitment, payroll and payroll pension administration.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified (Level 3 minimum) with strong communication skills, ability to handle confidential information, and a proven generalist HR background across

Qualifications

• CIPD qualified at Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum.
• Level 5 is desirable.
• An experienced people or HR adviser with sound generalist knowledge across the employee life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for people-related queries and provide clear advice on policies, procedures and terms and conditions
• Support employee relations casework including absence management, investigations, hearings and occupational health referrals
• Support recruitment, safer recruitment checks, onboarding and induction
• Complete accurate people, payroll and pension administration and make effective use of our people systems
