Job summary

LA International is recruiting a HR Payroller Consultant for a 6-month contract (with extensions) based in Worthing/Hove with remote work options. Rate: £575-£675 per day via umbrella, up to 2 onsite days weekly. You will join a large SAP practice and support payroll solutions across multiple suppliers.

The role requires strong SAP HCM knowledge, live service support experience, and excellent stakeholder management. Clearances and security awareness are valued for client delivery.

Qualifications

• Seasoned SAP consultant with hands-on delivery experience across multiple projects.
• Experience in Live Support environments and public sector context is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to liaison with client teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of the SAP HCM and Payroll Team within a large SAP practice.
• Work in a multi-supplier environment to deliver projects and resolve Live Service issues.
• Investigate, design and configure SAP HCM per industry best practices.
• Prepare documentation artefacts such as Solution Documents and WRICEFs.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, reporting to a Team Lead.
• Provide estimates for delivery and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Engage with client teams to resolve issues and offer ongoing support.

***SC CLEARED*** HR Payroller Consultant 6 Month contract initially + Extensions Based: Worthing / Hove /Remote. Max 2 days p/w onsite. Rate: £575 - £675 p/d - (via Umbrella company)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as part of the existing HCM and Payroll Team, within a very large SAP practice on the account
• Be able to work in a multi supplier environment to deliver projects and resolve Live Service issues
• Investigate, design and configure SAP HCM according to industry best practices
• Prepare quality documentation artefacts such as Solution Documents, Functional Specifications, WRICEFs, etc
• Work within an experienced team, both on and offshore, reporting to a Team Lead
• Be able to impact your work and provide estimates for its delivery
• Support and liaise closely with your corresponding client teams to resolve issues, provide solutions, and offer support to meet contractual obligations
• Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Through the hands-on delivery of projects and live service support in the SAP HCM solutions that underpin the operation of this client there is ample opportunity to make a real difference. Working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, both internal and client side, the role is key to the maintaining the relationships, built over many years, which have been instrumental in the delivery successes achieved so far. With a large SAP installation and the determination of the client to be at the forefront of digital transformation the role offers a variety of opportunities to develop oneself and experience new things as the role's holder helps achieve the customer's aspirations.

You will be:

• A seasoned SAP consultant who has gained hands-on experience from delivering multiple projects and worked in Live Support environments ideally with some of that in the Public Sector
• A team player with strong functional HCM skills (in Personnel Admin., Org. Mgmt., Self-Services, Time Mgmt., Travel Mgmt., Payroll, SuccessFactors and Country Legal Changes) and broader technical awareness (in things such as Workflow, ABAP, BASIS, Portals, Security, Integration, UI5, etc.)
• Innovative and open minded in your thinking with a passion for change and dynamic working in a team providing a first-class service to our client
• Enthusiastic about SAPs roadmap with an awareness and appetite in their leading technologies, SuccessFactors, Cloud Analytics, Concur, S/4 HANA, BTP, etc
