Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Description

In this role, you will oversee employee benefits programs, ensure timely and accurate payroll, and maintain compliance with labor laws and reporting requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring reporting to our offices in Los Gatos, CA.

Responsibilities, Skills & Hands-On Experience

1. Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with enrollment and issue resolution.
2. Payroll Processing: Administer payroll through a PEO, ensuring accurate and timely compensation, including timecard validation and employee data entry, while maintaining compliance with regulations.
3. Compliance and Reporting: Oversee compliance of employee credentialing activities, including preparation and submission of reports to governmental agencies.
4. Employee Onboarding: Assist in onboarding and managing employees, ensuring they have necessary resources and support.
5. Employee Support: Serve as the primary contact for payroll and benefits inquiries, providing clear and timely assistance.
6. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors to manage benefits offerings and ensure quality services.
7. Office Management: Coordinate daily office activities to ensure efficiency and policy adherence.

Education & Work Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
2. 5+ years of relevant experience.
3. Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance.
4. Proficiency in payroll processing and HRIS.
5. Experience with a PEO is a plus.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our salary ranges are role and level-based. Your position within the range will depend on your knowledge, skills, experience, education, and certifications. Internal equity, market rate, and organizational needs also influence salary, which for this position is between $95,000 and $120,000, plus equity and benefits.
