Job summary

Autobahn is seeking an HR Coordinator / Payroll Administrator in Fort Worth, TX. You will support daily HR operations and manage accurate payroll processing while guiding employees on benefits, onboarding, and HR policies.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, compliance, and collaboration with teams across the dealership group to deliver exceptional client experiences and a premium benefits program.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred; bachelor's degree desirable.
• 2-5 years of payroll and HR administration experience.
• Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and timekeeping software.
• Working knowledge of payroll regulations and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Audit timekeeping records and maintain payroll data, including deductions, taxes, garnishments, and direct deposits.
• Administer payroll changes for hires, terminations, promotions, and benefit elections.
• Reconcile payroll data, prepare reports, and resolve employee payroll inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and assist with year-end processing, W-2s, audits, and reporting.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Maintain personnel files, HRIS records, and employee documentation.
• Support benefits administration, employee communications, training, and compliance tracking.
• Process employee status changes and assist with performance management and engagement initiatives.
• Communicate HR policies and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Maintain accurate HR and payroll records in compliance with regulations.
• Support audits, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws.
