Find Your Balance, Center for Growth & Change Inc. is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist for a telehealth-based, full-time role in a virtual office.

The position supports California wage-and-hour compliance, payroll processing via ADP, and full employee lifecycle tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing HR and payroll with minimal supervision while adhering to California law.

Find Your Balance, Center for Growth & Change Inc.
Employment Type: Full-Time (open to 2 part-time hires for HR and payroll specialist separately), W-2
Work Hours/Structure: Telehealth position in a virtual office. Position hours: 8 AM-5 PM (PST)
Compensation: $60,000– $65,000 annually. Final compensation within this range will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Find Your Balance, Center for Growth & Change Inc. (FYBC) is a growing behavioral health group practice providing psychotherapy and psychiatric services throughout California. As our organization continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented HR & Payroll Specialist to oversee the day-to-day human resources and payroll functions of our practice.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable managing the full employee lifecycle while also taking ownership of payroll processing and administration. The ideal candidate has strong working knowledge of California employment and wage-and-hour laws, experience processing payroll through ADP, and the ability to independently manage HR and payroll processes in a growing organization.

Experience working within a healthcare, behavioral health, mental health, or other professional services organization is highly preferred.

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys being the person who makes sure the details are handled correctly.

You are proactive rather than reactive, comfortable working independently, and able to identify potential payroll or HR issues before they become larger problems. You understand that payroll and HR require both accuracy and urgency, particularly when dealing with employee compensation, benefits, leaves, onboarding, and separations.

You are also comfortable working in a growing organization where processes continue to evolve. You can create structure, improve workflows, maintain organized documentation, and communicate clearly with both employees and leadership.
