Job summary

Union Health Center in New York, NY, is seeking a full-time HR Coordinator to support Payroll, HR, and benefits administration. The role includes managing HRIS, onboarding, evaluations, and coordinating employee relations to foster a positive workplace environment.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of payroll/HR experience, with AS degree or higher and SHRM certification as a plus. This position reports to the Human Resources Director.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of payroll processing / HR experience.
• Experience in a medical environment is a plus.
• SHRM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and processes bi-weekly payroll for HR Director/CEO approval.
• Coordinates end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding processes.
• Maintains and coordinates employee benefits programs (retirement, medical, dental, life, LOA).
• Manages HRIS data entry and reports; supports compliance with laws and audits.
