Job summary

RTX, the world leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking an HR Employee Partner at our Middletown, CT facility. You will join a team supporting over 1,900 employees including union production, maintenance and nonunion salaried staff.

Drive HR initiatives, culture, and employee relations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will lead HR programs, manage performance processes, and work closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 8+ years HR experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support the business goals and get results.
• Effectively execute HR processes including performance management, salary planning, staffing and retention, employee relations, and development.
• Administer collective bargaining agreement as it applies to assigned employee population.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with union representatives.
• Conduct investigations and process grievances.
• Support collective bargaining process.
• Address HR-related inquiries from all levels of employees.
• Coach managers and employees, help them become the best that they can be.
• Participate in succession planning processes and programs focused on current and future organizational needs.
• Support recruiting and retention strategy, efforts and programs.
• Leverage process improvement/lean manufacturing tools and methodology to align with business needs.
• Lead and support special projects as assigned.
