Job summary

San Ysidro Health is seeking an HR Business Partner to support the Human Resources Department with employment relations and related projects. The role involves intake meetings, investigations, and advising management on policy interpretation and compliance.

The candidate should have a BA/BS in HR or related field (PHR preferred) and at least 3 years of HR Generalist experience, with strong English communication and data management skills; Spanish language is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in HR, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• PHR Certification preferred.
• At least 3 years of HR Generalist experience with focus on Employment Relations.
• Must have excellent English speaking and writing skills; Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with employees and management to provide superior HR support and customer service.
• Stay informed of state, federal, and local employment laws and ensure policies comply.
• Conduct intake meetings and assist investigations of employment relation issues and complaints.
• Follow up with management on status and actions; write reports as needed.
• Provide guidance on interpretation and enforcement of HR policies and laws; assist in investigations.
