Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking an HR Operations Generalist to join the HR Shared Services team in Springfield, MA. This role partners with HRBP, Payroll, Benefits, and COEs to deliver accurate, timely HR services and to support HR technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate has an Associates degree and 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience, with strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with Workday, Kronos, and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Associates degree is required.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience with emphasis on HCM/Benefits.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate HRIS and HR technology systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems such as HRIS, Kronos, and Workday.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Tier 3 support for HR Shared Services and partner with HRBP or COEs to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and processes and communicate updates.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, and other HR teams to resolve complex employee questions.
• Handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and integrity.
