Job summary

Calfus is hiring a Human Resources Associate on its People & Culture team in Redmond, WA to support day-to-day people operations, compliance, engagement, employee lifecycle workflows, and payroll administration across the US and Canada.

You will manage onboarding/offboarding, maintain HRIS data, assist with payroll tasks, and help with benefits administration and policy communications. The role requires 1–3 years HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, people operations, or a related HR function.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll platforms (Rippling, Workday, ADP) is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding, offboarding, and employee records.
• Assist payroll processing support tasks and audits for US & Canada.
• Maintain and update HRIS data for accuracy.
• Respond to employee questions on policies, benefits, and leave.
• Assist with HR compliance documentation and audits.
• Support benefits enrollment cycles.
• Validate job postings for US & Canada per regional laws.
• Coordinate with Finance, IT, and Legal to enable business operations.
• Draft and distribute internal communications and policy updates.
• Track HR metrics like headcount, attrition, and engagement.
• Help build People & Culture presence.
