Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Coordinator to support HR operations, manage employee data, payroll, and policies while fostering a compliant and organized workplace culture.

You will assist with recruitment, guide managers on HR policies, handle payroll inquiries, and maintain accurate personnel records, contributing to a positive employee experience and smooth HR processes across the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional communication across all levels of staff.
• Confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive matters.
• Proficient in HR software, data entry, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage Employee Data: process hires, pay rate changes, terminations in HR systems.
• Assist with Recruitment: screen applications and resumes, assess qualifications, offer hiring recommendations.
• Advise on Policies: support managers and employees with HR policies and procedures.
• Handle Payroll & Records: respond to payroll inquiries and maintain personnel records.
• Support Employment Transactions: guide decisions on promotions, transfers, reductions-in-force, classifications.
